How it works
Understand the transition, not just the title.
Most occupation pages can tell you what a job is and quote a national wage. A serious transition has more moving parts.
Every dossier investigates the same core questions
Work realityTasks, environment, systems, tools, schedules, and the branches hiding inside one title.
Entry routesApprenticeship, employer-first learning, technical school, prior experience, licensing, or combinations.
Beginner rungWhat people are actually trusted to do before they become experienced.
Transition economicsThe costs and pay realities between an existing career and mature occupational earnings.
CredentialsWhat a certification, license, degree, or course does — and what it does not prove.
Reality testLow-cost ways to gather better evidence before making a large commitment.
We do not make the decision for you
A dossier can describe conditions, requirements, tradeoffs and uncertainties. It cannot establish whether a specific person should enter a field. The useful outcome is a clearer investigation, not a personality verdict.
Training is evaluated by function
We separate orientation, theory, exam preparation, hands-on career training, apprenticeship/employer learning, continuing education and specialty training. A paid program is not treated as the pathway simply because it is available.
